Raphaëlle Dufosset, Colorist
I launched my career in France in 2007 at the historic Eclair Labs in Paris, working as a photochemical colorist. Soon after, I started coloring dailies, 35mm and digital and then transitioned to the DI. Since 2011, I have worked as the lead colorist on narrative and documentary features (a handful of which I also graded the dailies for). My expertise extends to shorts, TV shows, film archive restorations, and commercials.
Over the last fifteen years, I have built relationships with DPs and directors I continue to work with in Europe, including the Dardenne Brothers who won the « Palme d’Or » at the Cannes Film Festival twice.
I am part of the Shade International Colorist Association and the French Cinema Cesar Academy in France.
I have happily traded city life of beautiful Paris for the lovely nature and wildlife of Southern California where I live with my family.
I am now very happy to be working at Fotokem.
Selection of films I have worked on that were selected and awarded in various international festivals:
